Just what will you do if you are idle? As a blogger, you can do many things: browsing other people’s blog, reading RSS, downloading free stuff, or else. As a designer, you can search on new ideas by: looking at other people’s work, subscribing on free design magazines, reading articles, commenting artworks, and drawing! While I can’t waste on papers to do sketches, I used the official Wordl of Warcraft wallpaper as my source picture. This is the new vector that I just finished during the day, Warglaive of Azinoth.

I like how Blizzard’s artist draw their characters. I don’t know whose painting is this, but I do admire his skills. I might have draw the same thing but I just don’t have the good knack on this.

Even though the painting is good and at great resolutions, I still can’t see the details of the Warglaive. I just saw some blurry engravings of some Azeroth language or sort. That’s why I search for similar ancient writings to those in Warglaive with Wikipedia. This is what I found: Phaistos Disc The engraving inside Phaistos Disc might be different than the Warglaive but the history behind the disc is as mysterious as Warglaive.
