Here it is, a vector of someone that I previously posted as “si Anak Cute”. She is an underclassmen of the same major as me. She is cute, cold, persistent, smart, independent and introvert to the male species. Hahaha… what a type! But somehow I can pic her smile, not sincere smile, I think, coz she is too embarassed at that time. Oh, well, here is the descriptions.

The art consist of shapes in different colors. If you saying that I’m using an effect, I only use gradient effect and opacity. No more or less. There are lots of vector shapes inside, that’s why in the original PSD I grouped them based on the body parts. Such as, Hairs, Right Eye, Left Eye, Lips, Face, Nose, Neck and Clothes. I grouped them based on it’s diffculty levels. Apparently the most difficult one is her eyes.

There are at least 300-400 shapes of layers. I exaggerated a lot in certain forum about the number of shapes.

Duration of work is three months less study hours, living time (eat, bath, sleep), and project time. I constantly ask the opinion of the respected person about how she looks like. In secret, of course. She doesn’t want this to be spread, but since she refuse to accept this art to be hers, then it is my legal property.

Once again, an ecchi comedy by Square Enix. The title is “Nagasarete Airantou” (Casted Away, in Airan Island). The series began airing in TV Tokyo on April 4th 2007. It contains 26 episodes with the current episodes being aired is the 20th. Let’s begin the review!

Plot

The story goes on the young man (middle schooler) called Ikuto. He is running away from his house because of different perceptions with his father. Fate had made him on a sail that he would never forget. When the ship suffers from storms, he was drowned to the sea. The crew were feeling hopelessly to search. Therefore he was abandoned. But suddenly a large 20-store tsunami rushing on him! (ha ha ha… if it is not a comedy I would feel pity on him) Making him drowned deeper to the bottomless sea, then suddenly a glare of eyes from a creature are closing this scene.

The scene changes into a peacefull island where a girl was preparing for fishing. Then, tada~ she caught him Afraid of fishing a corpse, she recklessly smacking his face to wake him up. Then an indecent CPR was performed. Lucky for Ikuto he was awake during the CPR (you lucky bastard!) and then passed out again. In his second awakening he found himself in a very traditional room. He also dressed in traditional clothes. He was told that he was washed by the 100-year tsunami. Which is the only way to reach the island. It was told that all the people in the island were the victim of the tsunami which washed away a ship along with all the passengers. Having the fact that all of them can’t escaped from the island (because the island is surrounded by giant whirlpools), they decided to make a living in the island. However, once upon a time there is a festival that makes all of the men going by boat to hunt for fish, suddenly the tsunami pulling them away from the island. All of the men were carried out, leaving the women in the island.

Having the fact that Ikuto is the only male around, his miserable, exciting, and new experience awaits him around the island.

Degree of Jokes: 4.5/5
Each of the character actions always beginning with or ended by short sentence that will make every people at my age laugh out loud. The jokes are sometimes adult jokes which makes this anime rating a little bit higher. 18+
Story/Plot: 3/5
The story of a character trapped in one place and can’t escaped is common these days. As well as the story of the one and only man in the village is so yesteryears story.
Graphic Design and Animation: 3.5/5
It still use the traditional made by frame animation and common use of visual effect in many low-classes movies. No intense computer graphic animation were implemented.
Characters Description: 5/5
Each character have their own interesting background and ability which will makes us easily to distinguish them not only by their clothes. Each character’s behaviour were also distinguished so clearly.
Overall Score: 4/5
This anime were focused on the ecchi comedy intensely (not the ecchi, but the comedy). Neglecting the needs of good graphic because they doesn’t even need one (the comedy were so intense that we doesn’t have a chance to looking at anything else). This anime is recommended to those who were stressed by their jobs, school, or other routine activities.
