A really weird anime with really weird characters. The story goes on around a high school girl named Haruhi Suzumiya. In her first introduction during the class, she “declares” her interest against weird things such as Alien, Time Travelers, and Espers. She even made a club that focusing on confronting weird things like that. However, the story are not based on Haruhi-based. It is more like Kyon-based, her classmate. Kyon is Haruhi’s classmate that always getting sucked into Haruhi’s reckless actions. His thoughts of Haruhi’s act made this Anime more like a one side comedy. But on top of all, this Anime too, is weird… because Haruhi… the character… is taking part of Directing this Anime as well! And because of that… you’ll see episode 1 is not really episode 1, and episode 2 is episode 1! The story goes rumbled as Haruhi becomes it’s “Ultra Director”!
Current Episodes: 14 (end) (WHAT THE HELL??? IT REALLY IS THE END!)
After a day absent, finally I have created the new review for Apple Seed. The story goes beyond the future of earth where humans are no longer the only being that exist in the surface. A new race called Bioroid which is from the results of cloning technology trying to co-exist with natural human. The new race have all the ability and knowledge that normal human can’t possibly exist in their genes. Therefore, some sort of jealousy and anger comes from the natural. Due to this matter raising, the creator of Bioroid created some limitation to the Bioroids. They can’t exist without proper pro-longed life procedures and can’t even reproduce themselves without clone tubes. They also designed without given any emotion and desire, which makes them impossible to create a war. Such a perfection creates jealousy and intention to rule the whole world surpassing their originals.
The main character is a female soldier called Deunan. The lone survivor from the great world war that inherits superhuman battle capabilities from her father. Without knowing the purpose of her fightings, she encountered unique enemy units that wiped out all her comrades in just a glance. However, a mysterious units come in handy to help her and also abducted her! Deunan lives without knowing her past and keep continue to fight. After the abduction, she knew that her existence is crucial for the future co-existence of both natural human and Bioroid. Better watch this 2 series movies! Cool effect and shaders, fully 3D animations. Here are some of its wallpapers:
.Hack//Roots Another sequel of .Hack (read: dot hack) series, however the setting is a prequel of its video games version, which is .Hack//G.U.This .Hack series is the first one which is broadcasted through HDTV (High-Definition Television). Therefore I often found it in enourmous sizes (200 until 350 MegaBytes!). Plot
Haseo, a Multi-Weapon and member of the Twilight Brigade guild. In the year 2015, CC Corp. Building burnt down, and with it, most of its data for The World. By splicing data from what would have potentially been another game, CC Corp. created The World R:2 and released it in 2016.
Set eight months before .hack//G.U., Haseo logs into The World R:2 for the first time and falls victim to the PKs that reside within The World R:2. He is saved by Ovan and Shino, which prompts him to join the Twilight Brigade.
The Twilight Brigade members are on a mission to find the Key of the Twilight, however, the TaN guild opposes this because they want Ovan’s character data possibly because of his device in his arm and will stop at nothing to keep the Twilight Brigade from their goal. But possibly the reason is because Ovan is after it.
Character
Haseo - Multi-Weapon: The protagonist of the series, and a newbie within The World R:2. Haseo frequently encounters PKs before joining the Twilight Brigade, his motivation for doing so is unclear, but he appears to be obsessed with Ovan. He is an outsider in real life, and not very good at dealing with people. In the first episode of the series, Ovan tells Haseo that he has a ’special characteristic”. What this characteristic is is currently unknown. Though he has displayed bizarre abilities several times within the series.
Ovan - Steam Gunner: The Guildmaster of the Twilight Brigade, Ovan has some strange device sealed around his left arm. As always, a mystery. Many people think he is odd, due in large part to his search for the Key of the Twilight, an item that may not exist. Apparantly, Ovan’s PC data is as large as an entire field, which may be due to Corbenik’s data being a part of his PC, but there is no confirmation as of yet.
Shino - Harvest: One of the few people close to Ovan and acting as leader whenever Ovan is incapable of doing so. Gentle-mannered but strong-minded, she holds the Twilight Brigade together during Ovan’s frequent absences.
Unfortunately I haven’t got any artworks from this series. So just enjoy it downloading from those two links I had mentioned earlier.
This OVA (Original Video Animation) takes scene before the event of Final Fantasy VII (the game). The prequel story before Final Fantasy VII that makes the whole story comes into conclusion. However, the plot tells us that the history from Final Fantasy VII (the game) is somehow different from the OVA. Why is that happen? Maybe you will see it when you watch the movie of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. In the scene where Cloud was remembering the past, there were Zack with him hitchiking a truck to Midgard. The image of Zack in cloud’s memory was a little dark and blurry, resembling he was a little bit unconcius at that time. While in the game it was not. There are few things also that have been bothering all the Final Fantasy VII’s Fan. Thus, they making a little comparation analysis between the OVA and the game. Here are the results:
In Final Fantasy VII, Tifa’s father is found already dead inside the mako reactor. In Last Order, he is found dying outside the reactor.
In Final Fantasy VII, when Tifa is injured by Sephiroth, Zack passes her. In Last Order, they have a conversation before Zack enters the chamber.
In Last Order, Cloud and Sephiroth have additional dialogue during their confrontation not present in the game.
In Final Fantasy VII, when Cloud charges Sephiroth with Zack’s Buster Sword, Sephiroth turns in time to be stabbed in his stomach. In Last Order, Sephiroth is unaware of Cloud’s presence in Jenova’s chamber until after he is stabbed through his lower back.
In Final Fantasy VII, Cloud is impaled upon Sephiroth’s Masamune once. In Last Order, he is stabbed with the sword twice.
In the original story, when Sephiroth attempts to leave with Jenova’s head, Cloud pursues him onto a catwalk that crosses over the heart of the Reactor, a wide shaft leading into the Lifestream below. In this depiction of events, Sephiroth quickly turns and runs his Masamune through Cloud. After being impaled by Sephiroth and held in the air above the lifestream, Cloud pulls the blade out of his chest and uses it to fling Sephiroth into the Lifestream. In contrast, in the OVA, Cloud charges Sephiroth while he stands at the top of the stairs leading to Jenova’s chamber, and is impaled a first time. Sephiroth then tosses him into Jenova’s room and impales him upon his blade a second time, holding Cloud’s severely wounded body above the shaft that leads to the Lifestream (retconned to be in Jenova’s chamber instead of another room). In this retelling of events, Cloud grasps the blade of Sephiroth’s sword and throws him into a wall (which crumples from the force of Sephiroth’s impact) instead, and Sephiroth then decides to jump into the Lifestream of his own free will. It should be noted that in the game, when Cloud reflects on the last time he saw Sephiroth, he states that “Sephiroth went off searching for the Promised Land, so he could become the ruler of the planet… That was 5 years ago… He told me he wants to go to the Promised Land with his mother, Jenova.” These changes are also present in Before Crisis:Final Fantasy VII.
In the OVA, Cloud is shown with a strange glow in the eyes. This shows that in order to test a person’s suitability to become a SOLDIER, they need to be infused with mako before they can be injected with Jenova cells. Obviously, Cloud’s body had rejected mako infusion and thus he failed in becoming a SOLDIER, becoming only a grunt in the Shin-Ra army. But, in the OVA, it is shown that Cloud has a strong determination to fight with Sephiroth, so his body is able to react with mako (his eyes have a strange glow) that had been previously infused to him during the SOLDIER recruitment procedure. However, he was forcely infused with high levels of mako while he was inprisoned in the Shinra´s Mansion basement with Zack by Hojo and is also infused with Jenova cells later. Due to Cloud’s body’s rejection and not posessing the mental strength to handle the mako infusion process, he suffers mako poisoning and remains unconscious, as seen in the OVA.
In Final Fantasy VII, when Zack rushes Sephiroth, he is apparently defeated in one blow, or at the least, a very short period of time. In Last Order, he manages to trade several blows with Sephiroth over the course of 48 seconds before being bested. He is still ejected from Jenova’s room and into a mako pod outside by Sephiroth’s final blow, however.
In Last Order, after Cloud critically wounds Sephiroth and is moving Tifa to safety, she regains consciousness and speaks with him. In Final Fantasy VII, she does not. Instead, the dialogue seen in the OVA is spoken by Cloud and Tifa while they watch the flashback in the Lifestream. This is a plot hole, because in the game Tifa has no recollection of Cloud ever coming to Nibelheim 5 years ago, which is a key point to the story.
In Final Fantasy VII, Cloud is present during Sephiroth’s attack on Nibelheim and is consequently knocked unconscious. He later recovers and rushes to the mako reactor after Zack has already gone in that direction. In Last Order, he discovers Nibelheim in flames along with Zack, and only goes to the reactor after scouring for injured civilians with Zangan. It is for this reason that he arrives at the reactor later than Zack in Last Order.
It had been previously speculated that the hidden scene on Disc 2 of Final Fantasy VII—accessible by visiting the Shinra Mansion’s basement—happened only a few days before the opening events of the game’s story. However, Before Crisis confirms that the two make their escape from Nibelheim a year before the opening events of Final Fantasy VII, and—as such—Turks recently added into continuity, yet not shown in the original Final Fantasy VII, are among Zack’s pursuers.
In Last Order, Cloud and Zack are ambushed by Shin-Ra soldiers while hitchhiking to Midgar in a pickup truck. While the original game featurs the hitchhiking scenario, it does not feature the attack that Cloud and Zack suffer at that time. In the retelling of events, Zack is shot while taking a bullet meant for Cloud. This is speculated to have left him wounded and less able to defend himself when he and Cloud reach their fated destination: a bluff overlooking Midgar, where Zack is gunned down and killed.
This is also my first time seing this much of differences from just a movie. This movie had just “rewrite” the history of Final Fantasy VII. Some of the fan feels dissappointed and some opens it with wide arms. However, you should see this OVA. It’s worth to see how Zack evades all SOLDIER’s bullets and lifting his BIG-OLD-BUSTER sword easily while 3 regular SOLDIER couldn’t (I’m beginning to wonder a scene in FFVII about how Cloud lift Tifa’s body with only an arm while another arm hanging that BIG-OLD-BUSTER sword).
